The Maker Map – OverviewMakerMap

The Maker Map is a national digital platform developed by The Makerspace, a program of the Crown Prince Foundation, to chart Jordan’s growing maker ecosystem. It serves as a comprehensive directory and interactive map, connecting makerspaces, fabrication labs, innovation hubs, universities, ecosystem enablers, and creative communities across the Kingdom.

The Maker Map aims to:

• Visualize the network of maker and innovation spaces in Jordan
• Promote collaboration among institutions, educators, startups, and independent makers
• Facilitate access to shared tools, expertise, and programs across different regions
• Highlight Jordan’s national capabilities in digital fabrication, prototyping, and creative industries

The Maker Map plays a strategic role in advancing CPF’s mission to build a connected innovation ecosystem by promoting resource sharing, enhancing regional accessibility, and increasing visibility for grassroots makers. The platform also supports Jordan’s broader goals of fostering STEM education, encouraging entrepreneurship, and strengthening technological self-reliance.
